I think one notable difference between the Democratic voters and the Republican voters:

In general, Democrats tend to call for the resignation of confirmed sex pests, rapists and pedophiles, and if that fails, they don't often win primaries. Republicans, being a sex pest is practically a prerequisite and makes you more likely to win primaries.

Even assuming Clinton or Obama or Biden or literally any other Democrat was in the Epstein files, the vast majority would be like "good. Kick the shithead to the curb. We don't want them."

To a *fault*.
I'm still annoyed that Al Franken was pressured to resign over far far less.

Yeah, idk that some creepy photos was enough to end his political career. But that was also the height of MeToo, and I guess he's a good enough guy to not have wanted to try and fight it.

@itsVague

It was, and that almost definitely affected the decision to resign. I also know it was the morally correct thing to do. I just find it bullshit that one side will try to take the moral high ground only to the harm of itself while spending every other waking moment being a spineless turd. Start demanding other people be held accountable. Don’t work until it happens. Try and make it so quorum is never met until the issue is addressed head on. And for the love of god don’t confirm pieces of shit to high ranking and/or lifelong positions.

@itsVague cough Clearance Thomas... Thanks Biden
