Wes Derby@countrymetalhead well, with over 32,000 tracks in my automation right now, those are guaranteed. Once I put together some jingles and such, things are really going to explode. I do not have the skill to be an actual station manager. My tolerance for drama is too low. What I can do, though, is make liquid soap which it had never been born.
@evilcookies98 LOL...I mean, I think Dan's already done that with our automation system...Made Liquid Soap wish it hadn't been born...Or rather, between him and Ben, our server guy, made it more versatile for us. I think we have upwards of a million tracks in Dodge automation.
@countrymetalhead holy shit! I have had to be a little harsh on Johnny Cash because my SPL is like stalking him. I recently discovered the beauty of just making randomized playlist by going poke poke, poke, poke poke, but it usually ends up like this, poke, poke poke, all three of them were Johnny Cash, delete. Poke poke poke, three more Johnny Cash, delete. Like if Johnny Cash we’re still alive, he would be filing a restraining order against my software.

@countrymetalhead oh I got a new computer last year. I just don’t have $300 to spend on software. All the fancy stuff I end up with is usually gifts that show up at my house on prompted. I mentioned I’m thinking about getting something, within a week or two I’ve got mail. I’m being spoiled within an inch of my life and I don’t know how to feel about it. I love, pleasant surprises, but I don’t like the notion of people spending mountains of money on me.

@countrymetalhead that’s how I ended up with $300 glasses randomly. Like I knew I was getting a new SIM card so that I wouldn’t have to struggle to figure out how to pay my phone bill. Then another box shows up that same day and I’m just like what the heck is that supposed to be?

@Techgirl1232 @countrymetalhead by lying to the shopping platform. I was using that my Cheez-Its were delivered at 2 PM. They were literally nowhere, leading me to believe because of the information I’ve been given that someone had stolen my snacks. They showed up at 6 PM. I was not OK. You don’t lie to me about something I’ve spent real money on.

@Techgirl1232 @countrymetalhead Walmart deliveries use the local store, at least around here, and their delivery drivers are bad for stealing stuff. Also, what would you think if you had been told your order was delivered at 2 PM and by 5:30 it was like literally nowhere.
@evilcookies98 @Techgirl1232 What's even worse is, in many markets, they use the local store, but not sture employees. Most actually contract through Spark or DoorDash.

I still stick with the regular Walmart app as it's fully accessible with Voiceover, and I always get accurate delivery times and statuses...Her incident yesterday insures I'll likely never trust Innosearch with anything.

Like I said yesterday, I’ve used them here in Mankato, up in the Fargo Morehead area of Minnesota, El Paso, the Roanoke area of Virginia, and in Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona, and have never had problems with them. Occasionally an order goes astray, but they always replace it the same day if it does.

On top of that, they were frequently out of items I wanted, and at the time the substitution thing was not accessible. So yeah, I was not trying to pay $100 for effed up orders.
@RandomFire @Techgirl1232 @evilcookies98 wow! That's kind of insane. Then again, I never pay by the year for these things. What city was this in/near? Only asking because in most of the country, they seem to work just fine. And the substitutions have always worked for me when I get a text that an item is out...I just double-tap the link, it takes me to the order, and I approve or decline the substitution. This is on an iPhone with Voiceover, and sometimes a latop with JAWS and Chrome.
@RandomFire @Techgirl1232 @evilcookies98 WOW! That's...Insane. Hell, just next door in Columbus was where I first used Walmart's online shopping, and never had problems there either. To be fair, I stayed in Indianapolis for an ACB of Ohio/Indiana convention back in 2018, and was not impressed by the city. I have great friends there, but the city itself was a little questionable, especially after dark.
@countrymetalhead @Techgirl1232 @evilcookies98 It was the area you were in. The entire city is not that way. And, it was only Walmart where I had that problem. I have pretty decent luck with Instacart, and also I had it with shippt . Nothing is perfect, I get that, but Walmart was particularly terrible for me.

Literally, my ex-partner and her kid drove to get snacks, stopped at one gas station...She called and said she was going a bit further out because she'd just witnessed someone being stabbed to death in the gas station parking lot at the store down the block from the hotel/motel. LOL
