We are very excited to announce the release of our latest app Capsule!

Capsule is a medication tracking app designed to make your life simpler and easier while ensuring you never miss taking a medication again.
- Add your medications and use the advanced scheduling options to ensure you take them at the right time, every time.
- Select between three different due types—schedules, intervals and one off due dates—which combined with the ability to set a minimum time between doses allow for powerful and customisable setups to suit every need.
- If you find you get sidetracked after seeing a notification and forget to take your medication, enable Repeat Notifications to be regularly reminded until you mark your medication as taken.
- A detailed history view lets you easily see at a glance when you’ve been taking your medications to discuss with your doctor.
- Use Widgets and Shortcuts to easily manage your medications as you go about your day.

I just came back from Android, where I had a really nice app for this and now found myself disappointed by the Apple Health app. This looks like exactly what I need!

Looking very promising so far.

Though I already have a small bug report and a feature request :D

Bug: The sample shortcut for „Share Next Medication Due Dates“ links to the shortcut for „Mark medication taken“

Feature request: Would it be possible to set a default dose for a medication? Because as it looks now, I would always have to long press on the med and use the big „Log medication“ dialog to set it for each entry, instead of just being able to quick tap to log my default.

@jana @rosemary Thanks for the feedback! I was sure we checked those links but clearly missed it, so apologies about that!

Default doses (and a wider expansion on the dose system) is absolutely on the cards and is something we very much want to improve and add to. We're not at a point of being able to commit to a timeline but it is something we plan on adding (and is relatively high up the todo list)

Thank you, we've been working on this for a long time and we're really proud of it!

Oops, those definitely shouldn't be the same link! Fortunately, that's one of the few things we can change remotely so that should be fixed by tomorrow. Thanks for reporting it!

Default doses are definitely on the roadmap. Can't promise a precise timeline, but I expect it'll be fairly soon.

"Capsule has been designed so that we don't see or store any of your data, nor is any of your data logged on any of our servers, unless you explicitly opt-in to submitting crash-reports or error logs.

Capsule does not use any analytics packages.

Your medication information, including history, and other in-app data is encrypted with keys stored securely in your device's keychain and then synced securely via Apple's Servers. Only you can access this information."

@richaesthetic Yes, it does. We believe we are able to offer a better experience and more advanced features (for example tags, minimum dose intervals, more customisable notifications, and Shortcuts support).

@capsule Will there be an Apple Watch app? I don’t always go around with the phone in my pocket. Especially now with a Pro Max that don’t even fit in the pocket, I’m often moving around both inside and outside with just the watch
