ahh the heady days of youth and the freedom of summer, staying up late, getting up too early, catching fireflies and living free
i remember fourths of july under the stars and colorful shiny explosives in the sky, sipping my family’s ancient punch recipe

but there are no less than eleven Tilly & Susan easter eggs in our short film for those who look carefully (but at least one absolutely nobody but us is likely to ever figure out, and others won’t become clear for a year or two!)
my writing ability SKYROCKETED after i began transition
it gave me access to my full range of emotions, it gave me a much better understanding of those emotions, and that made me better able to convey them, to invoke them, to make the audience feel them
and not for nothing but the lack of dysphoria freed up my brain in so many ways, and allowed me to experience things (and to create things!) that i never had the capacity to before, because it ate so much of my energy and ability
so first of all, thank you, you’re very sweet
but also!
it’s a bit weird to say someone’s your transition goals
it’s so very different for all of us, and comparison is the thief of joy
so i just hope i inspire you to find YOUR path and the true YOU, whoever that is, because THAT is beautiful 🩷

they’ve been a bit hard to come by this year but every show of Griffin Kelly’s that I’ve seen has made me laugh more than anything else (she was the star of our short film Long Away, and does regular comedy shows here in LA)
she’s super sharp, has impeccable delivery and perfect comedic timing
she’s so good it’s frankly unfair to everyone and especially me personally
gosh if just being me helps with all of that then i consider these posts well posted
