Real conservatives prioritize their commitment to democracy and the Constitution above party. The conservatives who voted for Trump are just some combination of selfish, racist, and hateful.

@faraiwe I don't trust Walsh. I welcome his voice in criticizing Trump and encouraging other Republicans to do so.
The enemy of my enemy is not my friend. But it's stupid to reject Republicans who want to stand up for democracy and the Constitution and join the resistance against Trump.
I may never agree with Walsh's policies, but I can respect his commitment to doing what's right at this moment.
