The growing gap between amateur radio “normal” in the US and Europe is pretty alarming. I didn’t see a single stall at Friedrichshafen selling tactical gear or combat knives or webbing or other nutty stuff, but I understand it’s par for the course at American hamfests these days. This is not normal and it’s not always been like this.
