When you buy one of these in the supermarket and the young checkout staff look at it like, wtf is this??? and they look at you, and you say "swede", and the palpable relief on their little faces 🥰

@essjax @aly Should be fine to grow there - we grew acres of them in Northland, mainly to feed cows, but would steal some for the pot, or eat them straight out of the ground (after peeling them, of course).

@aly @essjax par boil, smash them and fry/sauté in butter (think hash browns). Love them!
