@arx There is that, too. But I am definitely moving to the left, as well. I think just observing him, in all his glorious repulsiveness, makes me continually re-evaluate everything I've ever believed, and also makes me want to put as much distance between myself and him as possible.

I wonder just how many people, like me, have moved from the right or center to the left in reaction to his continued public display of what the right is actually all about. By contrast, I think the shift we see towards the right in the public sphere is mostly just those vile sorts of people becoming more vocal and open about their fundamentally reptilian inner nature.
