Freshly unemployed?
Before you leave the building, be sure to get some things:
Your W-2 from last year.
Any company matched and recorded charitable contributions.
And your most recent compensation letter.
These documents are often electronic now, and stored in your old employer's system, so will not be accessible after your access is cut off.
You need the first two for your taxes.
And the last one when you go to negotiate with your new employer.
