That’s amazing, I’ve got the same combination on my luggage!

@aral Come to think of it, I think many McDonald’s have more sophisticated combinations on the doors to the toilets.

I am here because of Spaceballs! 😆

Spaceballs 12345

A scene from the movie "Spaceballs" (MGM, 1987). I use it to educate people to choose better "combinations" aka passwords. The scene has been slightly edited...

@aral my first thought 🤣
@aral I've used that clip from Spaceballs in infosec awareness training sessions.
@aral That's the stupidest combination I've ever heard in my life! That's the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage!

@aral Jokes aside, that's the same combination from my job's office door and one hospital I visited surgical area door too.

And, in both cases, I guess the main issue wasn't the password chosen, but that someone/something demanded a lock for security and people chose the cheapest one with only support for numeric passwords to be shared with everyone in staff. And, if everyone in staff was to know the password, it can any password, even 123456. If you require people to use a harder password staff will just write it down somewhere or tell it loudly to each other when one forgets it.

@aral

Obligatory.

"I'm luvin' it"

Or maybe not.
