@AudraTran State employees in their official capacity making inaccurate claims to media about GrapheneOS to smear it as being for criminals and as the users as largely being criminals is a state sponsored attack on the GrapheneOS project.

Most criminals use iOS and Android, not GrapheneOS. The proportion of criminals in our userbase is likely smaller than Android. The state making extraordinarily claims has not provided evidence.
@GrapheneOS @AudraTran even if the case somehow was that criminals overwhelmingly used Graphene, that's a problem for law enforcement to solve case to case. privacy is a right for everyone, not a tool for criminals

Exactly. If criminals use human rights, that doesn't mean that human rights are wrong. GOS helps people all over the world to ensure that their privacy and secrecy of correspondence is enforced. If some of the users are criminals - why would anybody care? State must not have mass espionage on citizens in the first place.
Police has had agents and per-person surveillance for decades, they don't need to spy on everyone's phone or put a camera in everyone's flat for that. If the case isn't worth putting a human agent in the loop - maybe it's not worth solving.
