Literal Nazis are in parliament with 20% of people voting for them in the last election. German patriotism is intimately tied to rabid support for Israel which feeds into anti Arab hate. Somehow the notion that most problems in society are caused by immigrants has stopped real debate. There are now two laws in the making that would fit in nicely with the ‘laws’ that were in place in 1940 - 1945. I feel shame and anger.
