So few fireworks in my neighborhood in Seattle yesterday. Went for a walk and noticed very few parties.

It felt more like a day of mourning than anything — the USA would have been 249 years old yesterday, had it lived.

@brentsimmons Plenty of fireworks down in Tacoma. Parties too. Thousands of people on the waterfront. Perhaps it's just Seattle...

@brentsimmons In the south SF bay area it was way more intense than last year. Louder, more, and longer.

@brentsimmons we had one firework set off in the mobile home park. (Illegal as fvck).
But I did do steak and potatoes for me and my client/roommate.
