This is how F**ked the #USA is.
The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme is a national treasure. It gets the best price from US pharmaceutical companies, protecting us from exorbitant prices that US citizens pay.

"The powerful US pharmaceutical lobby has lashed #Australia for engaging in “unfair and non-reciprocal trade practices” by subsidising medicine under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, and short-changing US drug developers for their products."
No thanks! "Americans who can’t afford health insurance are going without life saving medicines and, in extreme cases, dying as a result,” said Matt Grudnoff, Senior Economist at The #Australia Institute.
“It is a shameful situation which cannot be repeated here."
Congrats to the Albanese Government for consistently defending Australia's PBS from drug companies in the US.

@MrLee that's why Canada meds are cheaper and people would fly or drive to Canada to get there meds for like 3 months at a time.
