Consider, Pinocchio could read any sentence and you would immediately know if it was a lie or not. You could use him to fact check politicians, you could also ask him to say "Dark matter is real" and we would immediately know the answer. Furthermore, assuming his nose grows endlessly we could exploit this in order to get infinite wood.
The real challenge there is how many lies can you have Pinocchio tell which pretty much defines the speed at which you can get infinite wood. But there's no requirement for what language Pinocchio can speak, so what we need is to invent a language with a singular syllable that can tell multiple lies at once.
