Konakona@RickiTarr while I neither like the dems or the reps Kamala was right. I knew Trump was bad but I never expected him to go that far. I agree people shoudn't enter countries illegally but at the same time if they are caught they should still have rights and due process and if they absolutely have to get deported they should at least get help with the process so their security and their family aren't in danger.

Especially since Trump is revoking citizenship and legal immigration for no reason.

The point of due process is not for Americans to be nice to illegal immigrants. It is for the cases where a mistake was made, a citizen was nabbed. And it is so that the person has a chance to prove their innocence/citizenship.
Without due process, government can grab anyone they feel like (for example, political opponents), claim "illegal immigrant", and disappear the person.

@bjb I know it wasn't for Americans to be nice to illegal immigrants but at the same time if someone comes there illegally they should still be treated like a human being and if they have to get deported then doing so safely and not harm them in the process or detain them in horrible conditions.

I agree that it is good to treat people like ... people. That is a separate issue, although it is partially addressed by the right to due process. (If the defendant is found "guilty" then I think they are still deserving of humane treatment but that is not covered by "due process" which ends when the disposition determination has been made.)
Some Americans seem to have completely lost sight of that.
