If so, there may be a pathway for Canadian citizenship due to the 2023 Bjorkquist decision on Lost Canadians.
While there is a bill C-3 in Parliament to address Bjorkquist, there is also an Interim measure that provides a process to apply for special grants of citizenship by descent under the new legislation is in place.
