It would be nice to know why. But it's enough to know it's happening.
FInding out the "why" may satisfy our curiosity.
Acting like it's already a threat, even before we learned this, even now that we know this, even if we don't know why, can be done even in the absence of that knowledge and can help us survive.
It would be more than nice to know why "all existing climate models" missed that.
I'm guessing other greenhouse gases in higher quantities than models think.
