There is a type of political analysis and reporting that identifies hypocrisy from the right as if that’s a killer blow. This is like pointing out that a Challenger tank is a slightly unfashionable shade of green.

It doesn’t matter to them, they don’t care. Why would a logical inconsistency matter? It’s just about power.

I'm starting to wonder if anything at all that keeps the americans focused on their legalities and electoral politics when their constitution is clearly a dead letter, is just a ploy to tie up leftist energy that could be more usefully applied elsewhere.
