@poppyhaze those provisions are already out of the bill on Byrd rule

@kate @poppyhaze republicans are pushing it anyways, they need 7 dems to vote with them to get it in with the byrd rule

don't think they'll get it but like

NEWS: The ban on transition care through Medicaid was finally removed from Trump's Big Ugly Bill. A source tells me Sarah McBride and Tammy Baldwin worked tirelessly over the weekend to maintain Democratic opposition to the measure.

@kate @poppyhaze yaaay. kinda figured but still nice
@kate @poppyhaze to be frank this wasn't so much a "oh god will it go badly" as a "if this goes badly then it will completely and totally shatter all faith i had in the democratic party" lol. which is hwy i figuerd it wouldn't
@junebug @kate is still passed which is not great but at least we got that provision removed. unfortunately the Medicaid work requirements are in and that's gonna be grim.
