Ok, tail end of my trip so we get to photo dump now.

Started off in Saitama at Belluna Dome for the 2 Aqours final concerts 「永久stage」. Nothing really special about the dome itself, but there were some interesting things off to the side.

More banner artwork. I'm gonna miss these girls. 10 years...
Some nighttime shots that my phone really struggled with. The stupid plastic lens protectors I have on there keep getting fogged up and obscuring things.
I ended up heading west again to Osaka (to meet with a friend) and Kyoto (to sight-see). Kind of light on pictures from there though. Fuji looked ominous as hell with clouds both above and below. While I was there, obviously I went to the Final Fantasy Eorzea collab cafe at Pasela.
I decided against going to the World Expo - the weather didn't help, but it also didn't seem very interesting more generally. So I went back up to Kyoto to Arashiyama. The weather was kind of bad in the morning but the cloud cover made for super interesting contrasts.

"Monkey park??? I'M SOLD"

Unfortunately it was a surprise mountain climb and holy shit I'm so glad it was actually overcast the day I went out there. I would have literally died.

~25 minutes later from the top. Monkeys! Also, nice views of Kyoto proper from Iwatayama.
On the way out of the park...
Then walking toward the bamboo grove (afaict, what Arashiyama is known for?).
Ok, while the bamboo grove is smaller than I expected it was _very_ pretty. And yeah, I saw the damaged/vandalized bamboo too...
On the way out, the sun was FINALLY showing up and I was literally soaked in sweat. I think I'm going to stick to winter trips from now on lol.
And then the last thing for this trip - a baseball game at Tokyo Dome. Yomiuri Giants vs Yokohama BayStars. It was a relatively uneventful game until the Giants blew it open late in the game.

And that's it! Relatively low-event trip but it was a good one.

Unrelated, @jerry - I hope my monthly Patreon donations cover photo dumps like this. I feel bad each and every time! :(

@CrescensXG mastodon squeezes the snot out of them, so the net impact is incredibly small - I wouldn’t worry about it at all. And thank you for supporting us!
