I do try my best to be a net positive on here, bring a little happiness in a bonkers world, but I do have my issues, just like everyone else. Loneliness and depression live rent free in my head most days, and it's not getting any better when I hide from it, instead of dealing with it. If you have any coping strategies you would like to share, especially those geared toward people with wiring upgrades, I'd love to hear them.
@chrisnelsonsdog if you can walk, find a walking club with regular walks. Talking to folks while walking (you don’t have to look at each other) is so calming.
When my partner was undergoing cancer diagnosis, we walked for hours each day. It helped stave off the panic and despair. We were lucky that his cancer was treatable, but the walking helped us survive that horrific diagnostic phase.
