ok, so, y'all probably hear me talk a lot about #Gaia lately, so I thought I'd take a moment to explain my position on the topic

I was baptized Catholic, you know, the really scary church, with bloody Jesus, and the mean-ass nuns...

that shit was traumatizing as fuck, and fulfilled me in no way, quite the opposite in fact.

so, I turned away from the church at 12, never to return

as I've aged, I've tried to find purpose, and meaning for my life, so I looked far, and wide, and found nothing within any religions

then, in 2020, during covid, I camped up on the mountain, for over a month, and during my time up there, I observed nature, and learned things, about nature, and myself

then I realized, the answer was right there before me, my entire life, I just didn't recognize it, it was nature itself

I call it Gaia, an ancient greek name, for the benefit of understanding, but it's really nature, our entire earth, and everything which calls it home

I choose to reject the bearded man in the sky the big three religions have forced, and oppressed us all with for millennia, and instead look to the natural world, which provides for, and nurtures us all

the bearded dude in the sky, is a cold-ass jerk, who takes things, and controls people, disregarding nature as expendable, while our mother provides for us, and teaches us

thank you Gaia 🌍🖤

I'm also choosing gratitude, over loss, trying to stay positive, and counting the things I have, not the things I don't
