🍿 With only mega big blockbuster releases, short theater releases because of streaming, no mid tier budget movies due to dwindling physical media sales. Many wait and see movies at home on their existing streaming service they already pay for. Or would just pirate content if it’s not on their existing streaming service. it could be wise for a movie studio who also has a streaming service to offer a easier to get lower cost than monthly, more limited selection la carte option.
They know the titles to offer as they are not licensing them to competitor streaming services as they want them exclusive to fund the higher prod cost… everything is broken. 🏴‍☠️

@tkmedia Unfortunately streaming companies are all after the AOR (Annual Occurring Revenue) that comes with “passes” and “plans.” Because that’s what Wall Street likes.

But I agree that your way is how it should be.

@colorblindcowboy true but they are loosing actual money as folks will just 🏴‍☠️ as it’s easier. And we are getting less variety of content because their current business model makes no sense.
