My opinion that no one asked for: I think Windows should just keep the blue screen AND also print more useful information on the screen.

It seems poor design to make the system failure screen indistinguishable at a glance from a system upgrade screen.

Microsoft is changing its Blue Screen of Death to a black one. After decades, a simplified black error message will replace the traditional BSOD.
