But it has to be all of them. No military exception, no cop exception.

However, this whole “where are the guns vs tyranny people now” thing is empty headed dreck. Because those of us on the left are right here, and those that are on the right are in support of the fascism.

We’re outnumbered, and nobody actually wants a civil war. Well, that’s not true. Only idiots want a civil war.

Edit: as the thread was locked, and I can’t respond to a valid point that was raised, I’m trying this. Yes, improvised firearms are possible. They’re actually really easy to make. But, if you can get consensus to destroy all guns everywhere, rounding up ammo with them isn’t much harder. Same with the kind of powder needed to reload shells, and you could then restrict that even more than it already is. Once you unravel production lines at scale, 3 printed guns become props because there’s nothing to shoot out of them. You can’t use regular black powder in modern guns; it clogs the working mechanisms.

Even a zip gun would be way less useful after the first shot or two. Likely becoming more dangerous to the shooter.
