From a short post just now on Sub*ack: "In truth, plutocrats will hardly suffer any consequences from their failure to buy this election — other than feeling frustrated over the fact that they did in fact fail to buy it. If attack ads can’t bury a Muslim socialist, maybe the 0.01% doesn’t run things as much as it imagines. The horror!"
@georgetakei P.S: I subscribed to *way* too many things after WaPo went from soft to completely squishy, thinking I could maybe support the good journalists. The only ones I have stamina to actually read (mostly) is Krugman and Wired. I was *this* close to getting Teen Vogue, but came to my senses. Nevertheless good reporting deserves support.
