I contributed to this, what is essentially a 6 page long rant about blue prince in the style of someone losing their mind

It's about somone going mad because they start seeing hidden patterns everywhere they look.
This is definitely my favourite page
I spent way too much time on making this. I hope at least @ElectronDance will appreciate it.
Also you might say: Isn't this just what the witness is about? no there is a difference.
the witness is about learning to see things hidden in plain sight
blue prince is about going paranoid and suspecting hidden meaning in meaningless details
@accidentlyAnton sounds like I will not play that

@YinYinFalcon I honestly think a big part of why it went like this for me was, because I went into the game expecting it to be like The Witness or Obra Dinn when in reality it very much isn't.

Almost all of the game's puzzles and clues are very explicit and tied to explicitly interactible things.
Only very few puzzles/clues are hidden in the environment and the rest of the environment is just clutter or red herrings to hide the relevant bits.

@YinYinFalcon Though I'm seriously considering writing a little article where I talk about all the cool things the game does, so that people can read about them without actually having to play the game and spending so much time on it to experience those things.

@accidentlyAnton @ElectronDance i also appreciate it!

(yet... how did you get dirt in the birdbath???)

@vfig @ElectronDance very simple, there is one experiment in the lab that causes dig spots to spawn in front of the house, and I triggered that many times in a single run

as to *why* I did that: (see next post)

@accidentlyAnton @ElectronDance i have only triggered that particular experiment a few times. i thought that might have been it, but i am still surprised (and amused) that it overflows it into the birdbath too! πŸ˜„
@vfig @ElectronDance there is one vision from alzara where he talks about an open gate, and there is an "upgrade" in the game that causes digging in a room to open all doors in it ... so I thought by doing this I could get the dig spots to flow over into the driveway and open the gate this way ... the dig spots did spill over into the driveway (and into the birdbaths), but digging there did nothing ... NOTHING
@accidentlyAnton @ElectronDance i think it doesnt count as a room. probably due to the mechanisms involved theres a technicality that a room has to be less than a few tons overall. and how much does a driveway?
