I’ve been using the Zen browser for work (Windows) over the last few days, and I’m impressed.

It’s been stable, fast, compatible with Firefox addons.

The only thing that really throws me is the tab bar on the left instead of at the top. Apparently this isn’t going to change, but I’m getting used to it.

I still stick to Safari outside work on Mac and iOS.

Zen Browser

Beautifully designed, privacy-focused, and packed with features.

@alexanderdyas I've started using it too

What are you doing for bookmarks?

I used to use Firefox sync

@tootbrute

I imported bookmarks from Firefox. I don’t use any syncing service as my work bookmarks are exclusive to work and live in my current browser.

That said, I’m not convinced the bookmarks were correctly imported. I need to check this as some seem to be missing…

@alexanderdyas The whole UI concept of Zen is based on Arc Browser. It is their feature to make use of a retractable left sidebar for managing tabs and spaces.
@voyager Muscle memory is hard to change but I’m getting there. I think I should investigate spaces more.
@alexanderdyas I especially like the "frame-only" style, saving so much space.
