Kongsberg successfully launched the N3X satellite constellation. The satellites have a receiver for an Automatic Identification System (AIS) and a radar detector. This lets them find both vessels that are working with the satellite and "dark vessels." A "dark vessel" is a vessel that turns off AIS but keeps sending radar signals. In total, #kongsberg a has launched 10 satellite missions so far in 2025, continuing its year-over-year expansion from 9 missions in 2024.
