I'm disappointed with #podcast-hosting providers right now. Some are still missing important #Podcasting2.0 features. Some have missing or incorrectly implemented standard features. Some have more features but bad UI/UX.
It looks like I'll stick with PowerPress for now, but with custom coding. 😓

What's often incorrectly implemented is episode titles and numbers. Like unnecessarily populating both <title> and <itunes:title> with the same text and not allowing them to be different (for the sake of adding cross-compatible episode numbers to titles).
@mattmedeiros Today, I was excited to be moving to a provider, but then found several issues, including a handful of dealbreakers.
For example, they didn't support VTT transcripts and thus they didn't migrate any of my VTT transcripts. Or they require 3,000-square episode artwork instead of allowing 1,400-square. And some other weirdnesses from my feed migration.
And I'm really disappointed how many hosting providers use "random" MP3 URLs.
