The number one thing I learned from coming onto the internet at the exact moment the dirtbag left came into being, is to absolutely never ignore the blazing warning sign when someone says "we should work with the populist right." Particularly if that "populist right" consists of a post-Pizzagate Mike Cernovich.
I ignored those signs with guys like Dore, Taibbi, Greenwald, and it basically ruined my life. I know who CJ is, and she's no friend of mine. I'd rather not. Nothing personal.
I mean frankly I think working with reactionaries who have nazis friends is fatal for any leftist, but the point really becomes crystal clear once the fash announce their intentions to pogrom you - and they certainly have, so I just don't fuck with people who fuck with nazis.
It's just a rule I got. And it's not changing.
