I love the winter sunlight. Cool but sunny is my absolute favourite combination. I also love when the sun dips low and the air takes on that extra little chill. Or maybe a storm front rolls through and everything turns dark. But this time I'm ensconced inside the apartment, with a hot cup of tea and a blanket and that feeling of being safe and warm while the elements outside do their thing. The only thing that could possibly make that any better would be a big log fire.
