We've been waiting a while for this, but we finally got to return to JFK's TWA Hotel -- and this time spent a night in a runway view room! Highlights incoming 🛬
It starts with the building, an Eero Saarinen masterpiece that was saved from demolition by landmark status and then refurbished to become the hotel.
It’s over 60 years old and still looks sleek and stylish.
It’s as much a museum as a hotel. There’s a Solari split flap departure board, a museum of historical TWA uniforms, some of Saarinen’s original design drawings, and plenty of 60s-style decor.
How’s this for a hotel room view?? 🤩
