Lemmy

Giving Outer Wilds another go from a new save. I played 5 years ago but got stuck and gave up.
Man. I got about 5 minutes into that game.
I think I closed it and started a second runthrough of Stray. Wanted the kitty, not the spaceship.
I should eat some mushrooms or something and give it another shot.
You should. It’s very unique and special.
Thanks. I’ve kept it installed. I’ll pick it up.
I did the same with Obduction, and Stray too, now that I think of it. Yup, and with Talos.
Puzzle games have to grab me. But I can be grabbed. I finished the first two. I sure worked on Talos, but I got tired and just watched the end on youtube.

While outer wilds could certainly be called a puzzle game, I think of it as the evolution of point-and-click. By that I mean there’s a fleshed out world to interact with using your intuition and innate interest in mystery rather than a set of tasks to complete.

I hope it clicks with you!
