Jim Salter@joe certainly not prompted deliberately. Although it's worth noting, if the damn thing triggers by name rather than by phrase (cf Alexa), well, MY name is "Jim" so it's not impossible that it misheard something and thought it had been mentioned.

@joe yeah, and while I'm positive we didn't say "Jim and I" specifically, I can't be certain my wife didn't say my name and it didn't decide it heard the rest.
It is really hard to adequately express how ANGRY it made me, though. Because it really did just straight up interrupt our convo mid-sentence and KEEP. YAMMERING. Until I managed to get my phone unlocked and FORCE it to shut the hell up.
@jimsalter I was doing the dishes while listening to you talk and had to stop to check - I was furious on your behalf, it's gross and unacceptable. I was talking to my partner about your story, and it was the straw that broke the camel's back, and has prompted some changes we'll make.
A great deal of inconvenience is acceptable to avoid this... My technology was EXTREMELY usable in 2017.
