A casual acquaintance pushed me to admit that my weight loss was powered by Ozempic.

“There’s nothing wrong with it!” he said. “There’s no shame! It’s not cheating!”

I agreed on all counts.

But I didn’t use Ozempic. I’ve only used calorie deficits, workouts, endless steps, and protein.

It is a little silly that I felt defensive about it, but I did. If Ozempic or something similar works for you, I think that’s wonderful. If the routine I’ve doing since November didn’t work, I’d be looking at Ozempic too!

Anyway, all this will be the central thesis of my forthcoming podcast: Weight Weight Don’t Tell Me.
