@johnstonphilip @i_cannot_today @kevin i just assume that anyone arguing against voting democrat is a Trump supporter.

@BenAveling @johnstonphilip @i_cannot_today @kevin
I, on the other hand, am not assuming, I know without a doubt, that if you are willing to vote for the guy who supports genocide, you are no different than those who vote for the guy who dreams of genocide.

Accept it, the days of "we may be the bad guys, but we are not the other bad guys" being enough to win an election is over. Fascism is fascism, whether it's red or blue fascism.

@leeloo @BenAveling @i_cannot_today @kevin that’s like saying you won’t take the bus that takes you north because you need to go east, when the only connection to the east line is north of you. Sometimes you gotta do whatever gets you closer. It’s called pragmatism.

@johnstonphilip @BenAveling @i_cannot_today @kevin
No, it is not. Voting in support of fascism has never been and will never be the way out of fascism.

Your favorite fascist party may be slightly slower at getting there, but as long as you keep voting for them, they will eventually.

The only way to get the message across to a political party is to stop voting for them until it sinks in (or pay more than the fascist billionaires, but few of us have that option).

@leeloo @BenAveling @i_cannot_today @kevin so your strategy is to “stop voting for them until it sinks in”? Seriously?

@johnstonphilip There's a race happening, in which the fascists a) makes life worse for everyone (including themselves), and b) the fascists make it harder and harder to organise opposition.

How this ends depends on which of those things happen faster.
