a few days ago, I woke up thinking the last of the stegosaurs had gone extinct about the same time as ants showed up. And so I thought: "hey, I'll make a joke about ants hunting all the stegosaurs to extinction for stegosaur steak, or to grind up all the stegosaur plates for alate energy pills."

But there's a 13 million year overlap. So I didn't make the joke. But maybe ants just waited 13 million years to lull the stegosaurs into a false sense of security.
