Nav@snowden Is it a stack light? No, not really. Will it still show the status of a 3d printer? Yup! Can it do this without being horrendously expensive? Absolutely!
Callum Snowden@nav doesn't have the industrial aesthetic of a stack light though! It's cute though
@snowden There are magnets embedded in the bottom, so it'll stick to a 3d printer (or in the case of the hackspace, a couple of them stuck to a rack full of 3d printers).
@nav convenient, but you're still not going to sway me on that aesthetic of a stack light, sorry 😉
Maybe this is my calling to design an open source stack light that can be 3D printed... although they are also quite cheap from Aliexpress
