A blurry "FOOD PLEASE" story with our lovely chipping sparrows

#SKyard

Every time you guys like this, I get to see that first picture again in my notifications, and I laugh. This is really good for my morale haha
@stephanie OMG, itszso freaking adorable! 😍 😭
@wurzelmann I knoooow, I just keep yelling "DAAAAD" in my head when I see it 😭
@stephanie That first photo is so funny 😆 Like a cartoon character
@stephaniepixie It was just so perfect 😆
@stephanie That is *hilarious,* especially the third photo. :D
@Cassandra They're so funny to watch! The parent then left, and the baby stayed in the seed catcher for quite some time, just chirping and chilling 😍
@stephanie The roundest birds cry the loudest for food.

@stephanie

Oh yeah, that first shot of Junior announcing his requirements to the universe...

Chipping sparrows are wonderful at ANY age.

They've got the friendliness of chickadees but none of the sass.

@TheSauce Thank you, I needed to see that little screaming buddy in my notifications again 💜

But yes, so much! And they stay around a lot longer to eat and hop around (hopping birds are just so cute)

@stephanie

So many goofy babies this time of year.

Focus on them and not the stupid work stuff, friend.

@TheSauce Everyone is coming back to hang out in the yard with screaming babies, it's the BEST

@stephanie

The natural world always finds the party house.

@TheSauce I'm just thinking about the parent, going back and forth between the seeds and the baby... when their kid was totally able to get inside the cage and get their own food 😆 So demanding

@stephanie Yeah, well, enjoy that while it lasts Junior.

I always have a laugh when the raccoon moms around my homestead start booting out their offspring.

The apron strings are cut without much ceremony.
