The memes declaring "Gaza must be freed from Hamas" miss the critical point that after Netanyahu again broke the January ceasefire, Hamas themselves said they will relinquish all power in Gaza, release all hostages, and leave, on the condition that the Israeli military stop occupying Gaza—and Netanyahu rejected the offer because he refuses to give up Gaza.
This man is a war criminal committing genocide, and people are still focused on Hamas as if they control Israel's military.
Netanyahu understands this all too well. Getting neighboring civilian populations to hate Israel forever is part of his goal with these genocidal and war campaigns which he's waging all over the Middle East. It will create an endless supply of enemies both real and imagined that provide a convenient excuse to continue Israel's "forever wars", attempt to unite Israelis with a shared illusion of victimhood, and keep Netanyahu out of jail
Its the reason he's been funneling cash to Hamas and is now supplying arms to ISIS-linked militia in the region. He's not looking to defeat threats to Israel but to perpetuate them
