@j2bryson suddenly find myself wondering how many types of engine Honda *hasn't* made, now

2-strokes, 4-strokes, turbines, and now rockets... what's left, steam engines and Wankels?
@bhtooefr @j2bryson my hope is that in the dying days of ICE they put out a V8 just to spite the Americans one last time
@leadedsolder @j2bryson I have amazing news for you, they've already done that: https://marine.honda.com/outboards/models/highpower/bf350

(it, as far as I can tell, is a J-series engine with the same bore as the J35, even longer stroke than the J37, and two cylinders added, to make a 5.0 V8. 60 degree bank angle and all, because Honda has to be weird (and share tooling with the V6s).)
