Question: is there somewhere you want me to post that I'm not currently?

I'm on:
- Here (duh!)
- Bluesky
- Telegram
- Discord
- WhatsApp
- Reddit (sometimes)
- RSS

All links can be found in the footer on the site https://www.gamingonlinux.com/ btw

@gamingonlinux You are everywhere! ๐Ÿ˜

@gamingonlinux Nope. Here and RSS are perfect. thanks!

Unless you wanna add Matrix, which you could bridge to Discord and have best-of-both-worlds. But also laugh adjacently as discord enshittifies, instead of.. you know.. being affected by it.

@mousey @gamingonlinux sadly matrix isnt doing too well right now either. I think what GOL is doing now is perfect!
@QuadRadical @gamingonlinux the Matrix protocol is being picked up by European governments, seems like it's doing pretty well. Maybe you mean matrix.org or something? I self host matrix. If there's some problem with it, it isn't affecting my communities...?
@mousey @gamingonlinux Well, apart from the NSFL spam wave, theres also the freemium model that matrix introduced to matrix.org, and the general Element -> Matrix funding model that I don't think is sustainable. Also, the protocol is a mess in many spots. However, its the best we have right now. (I have hope for stuff like polyproto though!)
@gamingonlinux maybe Lemmy?
@froufox @gamingonlinux but that's already there by extension of being on masto ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™

@gamingonlinux My Mastodon feed is my main source of news. You're already on Mastodon, so that's fine by me.

But I guess we are biased here, if you asked on Tumblr probably the people there will tell you that Tumblr is the most important thing for them.

@gamingonlinux Here, of course.
I don't really use Bluesky, Reddit and Discord, and I'm sure I will never touch Telegram or WhatsApp again. I could use RSS, but I prefer Mastodon.

@gamingonlinux a human curated newsletter might work for some

(I already check all the new GOL articles by following the RSS links)

@gamingonlinux i feel like the bases are mostly covered in this case, i can't really think of much else
@gamingonlinux I will encourage you to also post on Nostr since it's FOSS and decentralized.

I love that protocol but the user base is lacking, being half of activitypub's age.
