Maron is such a good dog, very patient. She just sits there and waits, no barking or whining... It's especially noticeable in other situations after being exposed to a Maltese dog for a few years. The Maltese wouldn't let you have a conversation. But with Maron I can visit an couple in (around) their 80s and we can sit and have a nice chat while almost forgetting Maron is there. She just sits there looking around, perfectly calm returning friendly looks... When she's not pulling during the walk all anxious to get to the next smelly spot I want to sing her a Ringo Star song: "Every diamond in the sky, is in your eyes, but I don't treat you... like a should..."

Maron is such a good dog! 🐶 I will be dog-sitting soon for a week. She has separation anxiety so she must always be in the same room as a human (any human will do). 😁

Lucky that she's not picky about which human has to be in the room!! You reminded me of a meme I saw on the fediverse somehwere, Simple line drawings of aliens that came to earth. One of them was petting an old curled-up golden retriever. Somehow the cute little alien read the dogs thoughts and decided to grant the wish to be petted till the end of her life. The bigger alien responded "a life well spent"... It's nice when things are that simple for while.
