This reminds me of the saying, "A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic." It's probably easier to stir up sympathy for Ashli Babbit's family because she's an individual person rather than some nebulous demographic group.

@Phracker2Art @VeroniqueB99 I don't think it's sympathy. It's Trump rewarding his followers for being martyrs to his "greater glory". It's so next time he asks them to do something batshit, they won't hesitate.
