Zohran Mamdani has buzz and some momentum in New York City’s mayoral race. But can a 33-year-old democratic socialist beat former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary? Mamdani picked up a key endorsement Thursday from U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. It remains to be seen whether her support will help Mamdani overcome Cuomo, whose campaign juggernaut has won the backing of some of the cities biggest unions as he attempts a comeback from a sexual harassment scandal. The primary is on June 24.

Zohran has a massive online hype campaign behind him right now.

For anyone living in NYC it’s super important you participate in the primary. Early voting has already started or you can attend on June 24 (coming up soon)!
Remember to fully fill out your ballot with five choices that DO NOT include Cuomo at all, Cuomo’s name should be entirely absent from your ballot because he’s a sexual abuser and not putting his name on your ballot is the best way to ensure that he doesn’t win.
