1 year after installing FreeBSD and use it as daily driver. I am no longer need to hop between distros anymore and stay with FreeBSD forever.

#FreeBSD #1year

@maulanahirzan Great to hear this. It’s good to see that more people are using it as their daily driver. How are you satisfied with it? Are there some fields where you had to make compromises?

@NebulaTide I am so satisfied with FreeBSD and its rock solid stability. At the moment I have 2 laptops (installed with FreeBSD 14.2), 1 mini server (also running on FreeBSD), and 1 router (of course, FreeBSD).

Most of the time I used FreeBSD to develop simple ML models, learning NetGraph framework, and network-related stuffs

@maulanahirzan congratulations, sir =)
@maulanahirzan Have you considered giving NetBSD a spin ?
@tfb I have one running on RPi3B. It is serving a simple web page now, check it out here https://netbsd.bsd-devlabs.one/
NetBSD Service

@maulanahirzan Nice! That's an adorable little site 😸

It's also a nice workstation OS, but of course there's no need to bounce away from Free in order to use it
