Use of Apple or Google is soon required to contribute to the Interoperable Europe Portal, as they'll soon enforce Multifactor Authentication (MFA) through the EU login app, as part of the SMS phase out. Starting from July 2025, EU Login will require Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for accessing the Interoperable Europe Portal, aligning with EU security standards.

@nicorikken This is a real liability. Same thing goes for danish public ID MITid that only works from Google Play Store and Apple Appstore. A big and effective kill-switch to the tech oligarks in US.
