@paninid The overthrow of Mossadegh is (from a certain point of view) the original sin before so much violence today.
CIA overthrows Mossadegh --> Iranian revolution --> Iran-Iraq War --> Iraq broke --> 1991 Gulf War --> USA military in Saudi Arabia --> Al Qaeda attacks USA --> .... everything since then.
